When first activating the Viva Wallet powered by Google Play Terminals, one of the mandatory steps is to enable all required permissions.
Enabling the required permissions will allow your terminal to operate properly and you will take advantage of all its features.
The permissions that need to be enabled are:
Location permissions
Storage permissions
Notifications permissions
Make sure to select Allow on the dialog box that appears on the device's screen, after tapping the Continue button.
4. PIN Protection (optional and can also be set up later)
The pin protect feature, once enabled, limits employees from performing certain actions.
The features that can be PIN protected are:
Settings
Transactions
Preauth
Refunds
Disable manual amount entry
Force card presentment for refunds
