During the activation of the terminal, the Viva Terminal Αpp prompts the user to set up ways to get paid.
One of these methods is MOTO that allows the device user to accept payments by entering the card details manually without the card being present during the transaction.
To setup MOTO, after activating the app and allowing the mandatory permissions you reach the Setup your Viva Terminal app screen.
Tap the Setup you POS button.
Tap Continue.
On the next screen you can either connect an external device for chip & PIN transactions - if needed - or you can skip this step and setup later. Tap Continue.
On the MOTO screen, select the Activate MOTO option and Continue.
Please be advised, that as the merchant you are responsible for obtaining the customer’s permission before using their card details to make a MOTO payment.
To enable the MOTO feature within your Viva Terminal app, you need to make the respective request via live chat or E-mail from your registered E-mail address at support@vivawallet.com.
If you do not wish to activate MOTO during activation, you can do this later within the POS app.
