What proofs should I upload for my viva.com | Account in Germany?

If you have signed up as business customer in Germany, you will be asked to upload the below documents, depending on the legal entity of your business:

TYPE OF PROOF

ACCEPTED DOCUMENTS

VIDEO ID

You must conduct a video ID session with an agent and show a valid official identification document issued by a public authority.

You may provide:

  • EU passport, OR

  • EU Identity Card, OR Residence Permit

RESIDENCE ADDRESS

Upload ONE of the following documents:

  • Utility Bill (Internet, Telephone, electricity) under the name of the firm's Managing Director (Owner) OR,

  • Self declaration OR ,

  • German ID or Extract from residence registry (for registered persons)

BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENT

Upload an extract from the commercial register.

Additionally you might be asked to upload a BO declaration form stating all the shareholders and the ones that have ≥25% of shares, duly signed by the Legal Representative & the Shareholders

UBO DATA

(OPTIONAL)

Upload the following data for the beneficial owner / shareholder/ founder:

  • Valid Proof of ID (National ID, Passport)

  • Proof of address (Utility bill not older than 6 months)

POWER OF REPRESENTATIVES

(OPTIONAL)

Upload ONE of the following:

  • Power of Attorney

  • BoD resolutions

TAX - ID

Upload ONE of the following:

  • A letter by the competent tax authority to your firm, where the Tax Number (Steuernummer) is stated (not older than 12 months), OR

  • Articles of Association that state the date of firm's establishment (only for new businesses)

ECONOMIC PROFILE
(OPTIONAL)

Upload ONE of the following:

  • Account statement (Einnahmen-Überschussrechnung), OR

  • Financial statement (profit & loss included) (Jahresabschluss with BWA/GuV)
