What is the Electronic ID field that appeared in my business account?

The Electronic ID field of your viva.com business account, indicates the mandatory verification process you have to follow in order to:

a. Read and Accept viva.com’s Terms and Conditions,

b. Provide your Qualified Electronic Signature and

c. Show the front and the back side of your ID document according to the instructions received.

You will also be prompted to enter the OTP password in order to complete the above steps.

How do I verify my account through Electronic ID?

The Electronic ID verification service is 24/7 available and the steps you have to follow in order to proceed with the document verification process, are:

  1. Read and Accept Electronic ID’s terms and conditions (Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy).

  2. Read and Accept the Document to be Signed.

  3. After completing the above two steps, some System Requirement Checks will take place in order to ensure that access to device’s camera and microphone has been enabled, or is not blocked by default on the browser’s settings.

  4. Once the configuration settings have been completed, you will be asked to choose the document that you wish to proceed with.

  5. The system will inform you on the requirements that are needed to go through with the Electronic ID process (unassisted video):
    a. A well-lit place
    b. The original document, valid and without covers
    c. Wi-Fi connection or maximum 4G coverage

  6. Once the Electronic ID process starts (unassisted video), you will be asked to:
    a. Show the front of the document and fit it to the frame
    b. Rotate it and show the back side of the document
    c. Look at the Camera and Smile at the Video
    d. Upon completion of the Electronic ID process, you will receive an OTP password on your mobile.

    Once entering the OTP password, the Electronic ID verification process is completed.

I accidentally ended the Electronic ID process, by closing the window. What should I do?

In case the video process ended inadvertently, you may repeat the process once the option becomes enabled on the verification page of your viva.com business account.

In which countries is Electronic ID available?

Electronic ID is a mandatory field for viva.com business accounts for almost all countries where we operate, except for Greece.
