Battery/Power Issue - Ciontek Terminals
Updated over a week ago

If you are experiencing charging issues with your Ciontek terminal, follow the steps below to identify and resolve the problem:

LED Indicator Check

  1. Connect the charger to the terminal.

  2. Check the color of the LED indicator on the terminal.

  3. If everything is working properly, the LED indicator should be red.

If the LED indicator does not light up:

  • Connect the charger directly to a wall outlet, avoiding the use of power strips.

  • If it still does not light up, try a different charger and type C cable.

  • If the LED indicator lights up and the terminal starts charging, this means the original charger may be faulty. Contact customer support for further investigation.

If you have tried all of the above and the problem persists, follow these steps to reset the battery:

Battery Reset

If, despite changing the charger and cable, the issue remains (the terminal does not turn on and the LED indicator does not light up), follow these steps to reset the battery:

  1. Disconnect the terminal from the power source (remove the power cable).

  2. Remove the battery from the terminal as shown below.

  3. While the terminal is unplugged and without the battery, press and hold the Power Button for 15 seconds.

  4. Carefully reinsert the battery into the terminal and connect the charger.

  5. If the terminal begins to charge, complete two full charges to 100%.

Warning: Ciontek terminals cannot be powered on without the battery connected. If you try to power on the terminal with only the charger connected, the terminal will not turn on.

Contact Customer Support

If, despite following all the above steps, the issue is not resolved, please contact customer support for further assistance.
