The following responses may be received on a card terminal during the authorization process:
Card issuer approves the transaction. This means that, at the time of transaction, the card has no debit restrictions and has a balance available.
The card issuer does not approve the transaction. The transaction should not be completed using the card as a payment instrument at this time. You should return the card and instruct the cardholder to call the card issuer for more information.
Refer to issuer
The cardholder should call their issuer.
While unlikely, this response means that your card’s acquiring limit, assigned for security purposes, has reached its maximum. If this happens, please email email@example.com to apply for a limit increase.
